The first workshop will get folks started on coffee painting — an art form that is already popular abroad and is growing fast in India as well. This week WWPAPR LOW PRESSURE SHEET METAL SPRAY GUN Suppliers will see two workshops on different alternative art forms engaging city folks with a wide array of colours. “If done properly, coffee art lasts for months on end,” says Sucheta, “it is a misconception that coffee art will get spoiled because it is being created using edible and essentially perishable items. Spray painting is actually a much newer form of art.” While the workshop will deal only with creating swirls of colour on paper, the artist explains that he also uses spray cans and broken objects as a canvas.
He further adds, “You just take glossy paper, use aerosol paint and spray on the colours on top of each other.” On the other hand, Sunil Gogia’s forte spans across the rainbow. Coffee painting uses items that are easily available at home to create beautiful artwork. Just as paint is mixed with water to create different shades, coffee grounds are mixed with water to create light and dark shades which are then used to paint.
